New York is a wall-mounted range hood in solid brass: a clean rectangular volume finished in a hand-applied vintage patina.
The box form keeps the hood architectural, with flat planes and crisp edges that let the metal carry the design. The patina is applied by hand in our Mexico City atelier, so the warm, aged tone shifts across the surface and no two hoods match exactly. Integrated LED lighting is available in a two- or four-light configuration.
It suits transitional and modern farmhouse kitchens, where aged brass sits naturally beside painted cabinetry, warm woods and natural stone.
Every New York is built to your width, height and depth. The same form can be made in copper, steel or aluminium, in a polished, natural or patinated finish, with handcrafted rivets and straps if the kitchen calls for them. Made to order in 9–12 weeks from approved drawings.

Each Amoretti Brothers piece is made to order and carefully crated for safe transport. Domestic US shipping is quoted per order based on size, weight, and destination, and confirmed before production begins. All U.S. import duties are on us. What to expect when ordering from Amoretti Brothers:
All Amoretti Brothers shipments are packaged extremely carefully inside heavy-duty custom made crates or carton boxes.
Amoretti Brothers products are of the highest quality and extremely resilient against damage. In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged product, we will promptly replace it and pay all associated costs.
We ship across the United States duty-free, with all import duties included — no surprises at delivery. We also ship worldwide; for Canada and all other countries, shipping, duties and taxes are paid by the client and confirmed in writing as part of your quote before production begins. Every shipment is fully insured against transit damage and tracked from dispatch to arrival.
Custom and made-to-order pieces are non-returnable once production begins, as each is built to your specifications. If your piece arrives with transit damage or a manufacturing defect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we will make it right — repair or replacement at our cost. Every Amoretti Brothers piece is covered by our 5-year limited structural warranty from the date of delivery. It covers the structure of the piece: the metal body, welds, joints and watertightness. Patinas, finishes and surface appearance are not covered.
For range hoods, the warranty covers the body, welds, joints and mounting structure. Ventilation inserts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and we will assist you with any claim.

Can I place a custom order?
Yes, we take custom orders for kitchen hoods, sinks, tubs, lighting and furniture. Please, email us at office@amorettibrothers.com and we will guide you and create your order.
What is the lead time for custom orders?
Lead time depends on the piece. The estimated lead time is shown on this page and confirmed in your quote. Lead times may vary during peak times or holidays; if you have a special requirement, please let us know.
What can I expect when placing a custom order?
During the purchasing/production process, you can expect constant communication in every step of the way. You will be provided with:
1. A CAD drawing / tech sheet for your approval.
2. 3 sets of photo shoots during the production process and before shipping so you can follow the creation of your product. After each photo set, we will always require your approval to continue. We do not ship until having received your final green light.
3. A crate in which the product will be securely shipped
4. A shipping tracking number for you to follow delivery.
5. A 5-year limited structural warranty on every piece we make. Ventilation systems are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. When you receive your order, inspect it within 48 hours and before installing, and tell us right away if anything is wrong.
