Technical information

Product Specifications

  • Material Thickness:
The thickness of our copper cookware varies from 1.5mm for frying pans to 2-3mm for larger casseroles or specialty pieces, ensuring optimal heat distribution and durability.
  • Texture:
Hammered and polished for a classic finish that enhances both performance and aesthetic appeal.
  • Handles & Lid:
Cast bronze handles and lids, crafted with meticulous care using traditional techniques.
  • Tin Lining:
Each piece is lined with 100% pure tin using the time-honored flame/blotter method. This double layer of tin enhances durability and ensures a smooth, non-reactive surface ideal for cooking.
  • Rivets:
Rivets are made from thick copper for added strength and longevity, ensuring the handles remain secure for years of use.
  • Crafting Method:
Our cookware is hand-crafted in brass using the ancient mold-melting technique, then polished by hand to perfection, offering unmatched craftsmanship in every piece.

Product Care

  • Exterior Care:
Copper naturally darkens over time due to oxidation. Regular polishing can restore its brilliance.
    • Use copper polish to prevent tarnishing and remove white spots.
    • As a natural alternative, mix lemon juice and salt, then rinse with fresh water for a stunning shine.
  • Interior Care:
    • Hand wash with hot, soapy water. Avoid abrasive materials or bleach, as they can damage the lining.
    • It is crucial to ensure the tin lining remains intact for long-lasting performance.
  • Cooking Surface Compatibility:
Our copper cookware is compatible with gas, electric, halogen stovetops, and can also be used in the oven.
    • Do not heat empty tin-lined copper cookware or allow it to dry out completely.
    • Never add salt to the pan before the water has fully boiled to avoid damaging the lining.
